Community Support
We are expecting to target
the local community for
private funding in the
building of this complex.
We expect that local
businesses will see the
vision we have and will
want to be part of this
venture. We realize that this
complex can't be built
without some help.
We are constantly looking
for individuals who can
volunteer their time and
effort to help with this
project.

Edison Aquatics Complex
We are pleased to announce that Edison High School, a Distinguished high school located in Huntington
Beach, California has been approved for the building of an aquatics complex that will become one of the
elite competition pools in Orange County.
The proposed plan, backed by the Huntington Beach Unified School District, calls for a 50 meter by 25 yard
pool allowing for 20 swim lanes, a 25 meter water polo area 7 feet in depth, and a diving area 14 feet in
depth. The $3-4 million complex, will surely become one of the top aquatics facility on the area and will
attract many championship events in water polo, swimming and diving.
The idea of building this complex is simple: To build an aquatics club program consisting of water polo,
swimming & diving that will literally become one of the elite programs in the country today. There is no
better place to have such a complex than in Southern California, where it is already considered one of the
"hotbeds" of aquatics today. Many Olympians come right out of this area. We would help continue this trend
by providing a complex closer to home.
The architect that has committed to this project has built many aquatics complexes in Southern California
including Capo Valley Aquatics Complex and most recently, Santa Margarita High School's Aquatics
Complex. They are experienced and understand our goals and objectives surrounding this complex.
